On May 4th, 2015, Brian D'Apice set out from NYC on a solo, unsupported journey to the four corners of the USA to raise funds and awareness for two noble causes: Education in developing countries and military families within the USA. 363 days later, he returned to NYC having completed the amazing journey.
The Charities
Pencils of Promise builds schools and trains teachers in developing countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. PoP has built over 400 schools to date and are a tremendous force for good in this world.

The National Military Family Association supports military family members through outstanding programs and upholds a strong voice on Capital Hill and the Pentagon. NMFA always has the backs of the family members of those who bravely serve the USA.
